How do i even create an account with my key, the link from the mail isn't working?
I completely agree with that statement. I can't see that its fair getting people to pay for early access and open beta when they have since given away loads of free keys that are causing registering problems as the servers can't take it.
Once you have activated your account then you go to http://www.war-europe.com/#/myproductkey/ to log in and enter your beta key. But it doesnt work yet.

I won't be buying the CE now that's for sure, if this is the kind of service we are getting at open beta, I dread to think what it will be like trying to officially launch the game and thereafter.
It looks like you get a lot of extra stuff with the CE and it seems to me that's what you're paying for, but they also include you in the OB. If anyone purchased the CE purely for OB access then I'd seriously question their sanity.

It seems like a lot of people in EU are now starting to cancel their pre-orders of the game, and rightly so imo until we get some better service.
The problem I have is the complete lack of communication. Why not just let everyone know that there is a problem, apologize and give some sort of indication when it will be fixed. People will then not waste their whole sundays attempting to log in. It's almost as if they do not want to admit that there is a problem. This always amazes me about MMO's is that the one thing they have full control over, being customer communication, is the thing that is always totally ignored. Just a bit of communication will calm the baying mob.

It wouldn't have been so bad if they had listened to people and opened up the account registration last week sometime. Then all of these problems could have been sorted for today and *maybe* the OB would have launched smoothly. But no, GOA are always right so they go and launch AC the same day as the OB launch, and then the AC isn't even working and is a complete shambles.
I know however you do realise that the only people working in there are techs and analysts, won't be anyone free to update us until they finish whatever they're doing.
Managers and helpdesk folk you can guarantee didn't even go in today and frankly it's a manager that's probably caused this whole mess. No technical person would ever say "oh just let everyone register, validate, enter a code and patch a few hours before launch of open beta".
Not a million years.
Nah, you have a lot of people venting on message boards saying they are going to cancel their pre-orders. But if they have got that het up about things then they are desperate to play the game so the pre-orders will stay.
Personally I am not sure, from the WHA message board as to whether GOA have failed to start open beta or murdered some people's first born due to some of the responses!
