I know and I do understand and I've been on it since 8:30AM today. And those who know me know how much I hate being in work mode at that hour even under the best of conditions which today certainly is not.

well like it or not any negative impact GOA have will likely affect the whole product, and well, even mythic/ea probably realise just how much money is at stake if too much negative press about the EU game is up for if they dont solve all of GOAs problems


it also wouldnt suprise me if some aspects of mythic are analysing the contract for a get out of jail free card at this point or to consider depending on the long term management by GOA, if this sort of blatant mis-managemt occurs regularly during live id be very tempted (as mythic) to find a way to terminate the contract and hand over all data to another firm

there are MMO errors due to load, then there are firms being stupid, today was a show of how moronic GOA management are capable of being (im sure/hope the techies have been working their fingers to the bone but well, there is only so much you can do with a broken system on a sunday whilst constantly being battered by many many thousands of incoming connections and preventing the servers from bombing completely)

Well I guess even if they decide GOA are doing a terrible job its gonna be to late to switch to somebody else this close to launch. I'm sure they have service level agreements and the like in place so if they're really bad I guess they could break the deal, but it would all take a lot of time. Hopefully they an just get them to sort their act out.
 
oh i know its not going to happen any time soon, it would very much be a long term problem but i would hope the contract does contant SLA and other quality control stipulations, if GOA are too inept to meet them then mythic will probably have to hold GOAs hand through all its problems till it can change partner, which in turn would stretch the resources of the WAR US product and probably hurt both products in the long term

I am still waiting on my email :p. I guess i'll try another email tomorrow when everone is asleep before i go to work.

I keep getting an error instead of the image verification now, sod it going to bed.

ill probably try one of my other email addys when the system is officially back up, imagine when management are back in tomorrow some whips will be cracked and something might get done


or bureaucracy takes over and nothing gets done and lots of blaming/arguing/thinking gets done instead

I just tryed and same with ie, this signup page really doesn't like me or my btinternet email address. I guess i'll try my hosting or hotmail one when i finally get the stupid image up :).
 
Mythic cannot pin the blame solely on GOA on this one imo. I wouldnt wish to be the tech guys at GOA for all the money in the world right now haha
