Her car is on it's last legs so she's in the market again. Just had a quick chat with her and the budget is £5,000. The criteria I got was "has to look nice, can't be too old and not worried about mpg." I don't think she is looking for something that has high running costs either. I trust OcUK will suggest something great. Thanks

I tried asking her but she doesn't know much about cars. Her current car is a Peugeot 206.

What car does she have at the mo?
How long has she been driving?
What does she want from a new car? Lots of space? Quick? Posing in it?
How many miles does she do?

Work with us here :)

I shall probe some more.

Although she clearly needs something sensible like a Focus 1.6 this is OcUK, where we must completely ignore what she probably wants and instead be really literal and assume that because she doesn't care about MPG she needs:

a) Nissan Skyline R33 GTS
b) Toyota Supra RZ
c) Nissan 200SX
d) BMW 328i or Ford Mondeo V6 (Remember kids, we only recommend Ford and BMW!)
e) Jaguar XJR

I'm glad we got that out the way early. Now we can get on with serious suggestions ;)

Hi Matt

I have been driving for about 5 years and to be honest I’d like all those things, a car that’s quick, looks good and is comfortable.

/cries

would she appreciate the finer aspects of an Mx5? Im sure you can get a mk2.5 for this money.

Yep. Clio Sport for another suggestion.

When she says quick, im sure she means something thats quicker than her 206, which is probablly the 1.1/1.4? I would imagine she would prefer a new shape clio the the old one

My guess is no. Clio sport might be worth a look, but she might be put off by the interior vs the fiesta. She does a lot of driving on the motor way.

I've been informed that a fiesta/mini/clio is too small. She is looking for something bigger like a Focus.
