Well I think the subject says it all. Wonder if we can get a OCUK inspired movement on this? We need a Peter Parker with a little bit of life about him.

What are peoples thoughts? Agree? Disagree?

I know the Spiderman film franchise is one of the biggest but I think it would definitly be better with James McAvoy!

He's a good actor. I was hoping he was to be cast as Guy Gibson in the Dambusters remake but apparently it was just a rumour.

I liked the first 2 but I never got round to see the the 3rd of my mates telling me it was terrible. They've already signed up tobey maguire i think. Just to clarify:

Tobey Maguire and “Spider-Man” director Sam Rami plan to reunite for the fourth and fifth installments of Columbia Pictures’ comic book franchise - despite rumors that the actor wouldn’t play Spidey in the new flick, reports the Hollywood Reporter. “The studio never considered any other actor,” said Columbia spokesguy Steve Elzer. “Tobey was our only choice and the only person we’ve discussed the role with.” The studio, for financial reasons, will film “Spider-Man” 4 and 5 back-to-back in the fall of 2009.

Maguire is fine it was the script that made 3 suck. 1 and 2 were ok.

they should write off spiderman and start on another marvel hero instead, theyv already ruined spiderman.
Lets hope iron man doesnt go the same way.

I have a feeling that any new spidey movies will tie in with all this Avengers/Justice League talk going around, we've already seen Tony Stark in the Hulk movie and Nick Fury at the end of Iron man.
