Went to Trax at Silverstone yesterday (big car show) and there were a load of 360s setup, half had GRID and the other half had Race Pro running. I didn't get to play it as they were all in use and I couldn't be arsed to wait, but I watched it for a bit and I have to say, visually it's very dissapointing. It has strange grainy look to it, not through any 'next-gen' post-processing effects, it's the actual textures themselves that look grainy and noisy, and there are plenty of jaggies evident. It doesn't look anywhere near as good as the screenshots suggest, and next to GRID it just looked really poor.

But worse than all that, the framerate was horrible, it looked to be around 20-25fps at best, with some serious slow-down. This is un-acceptable, especially considering the visuals really aren't very good atall, again GRID was clearly much smoother.

Hopefully it's just early code and the visuals and framerate improve before the game is released, and it's a shame I didn't stick around to play it, as realistic vehicle physics should be it's trump card.

Awesome physics will be useless with such a bad framerate though :(

saw this too and agree it did look aweful so didnt play it. Did manage to guess the car correctly under the cover for the need for speed uncovered contest, didnt put me name down tho so didnt win the xbox :( shame as mine is in germany being repaired atm lol.

O/T - did ya have a go on the track drex?

Thats a real concern as I'm looking forward to this game more than any other 360 release so far, hopefully a few tweaks will solve this as there will be a hell of a lot of dissapointed people out there otherwise :(
