never mind the buzzcocks = funny
friday/sunday night project = funny
topgear when its on = funny
o and wire in the blood starts soon = good storys and "ACTING"
If this is in reply to my question, none of those are sit coms. Besides Topgear is the only thing thats slightly amusing, even that is getting old now.

Some of the comedy is good, but is does seem these days UK TV companies try and make a drama with the budget of a "reality tv" program.
"Reality" TV shows are killing British TV..

On the subject of Jimmy Carr, what in the hell happened to him? did he catch aids? seems to have lost a lot of weight in a small time, and it makes his head look even bigger, I really didn't think that was possible, he truly does have a meat head.
Arrested Development is probably the best TV programme to come out of both countries over the last 5-6 years. English TV shows have been lacking behind American counterparts for a while now

I hate it also, but I guess some people like it as they always get recommissioned, and it's also cheap to produce.
No actors to pay = cheap... Everything shot in a studio = cheap...That's not to say something has to cost millions before it's any good, but it's a shame we can't have something of comparable quality to CSI or 24 in the UK.
Spooks is probably the closest thing we have to 24, and it's not bad, but it's not really in the same league...

in fairness to her, i'm pretty sure that Bonnie Langord's script sheet just said "scream here" at relevant points
I didn't watch many of the episodes with Catherine Tate in them for the same reason I will not watch her 'comedy' offerings, I don't find her funny and her voice could shatter concrete
plus, on a moral point aren't the writers just ejaculating all over the back story now? i thought that timelords got 7 incarnations? even if you give them a credit back for Sylvester McCoy they're up to 10 Doctors now?
