N95 - Memory problem?

Hi there, my friends N95 is saying "cannot send message, not enough memory" and its saying this for everything she trys to do on her phone. It keeps saying not enough memory no matter what you try and do.

The thing is we've deleted just about everything appart from some pictures which we want to keep, and it says theres over 7gigs of space on the phone.

So other then trying to "restore factory default settings" is there nothing else we can do? Or does anyone else have a solution to this problem?

8gb or normal N95 ?

I'd ensure that there aint millions of saved messages saved first.

I think there is someting in settings to let you config how much mem the apps use. Though might be jsut for the Gps

Mine n95 has also gone abit mad, it see's track listings from long deleted tracks and then won't le tme delete them.

What firmware version is he on, I'm sure the newer version with demand paging wont have this issue. Is it possible he has the first or second firmware version?

Im guessing by the fact that the OP mentions having 7Gb free space that its probably a n95-8Gb. .
Unless shes got a big memory card, but the OP did say 'on the phone'. .
