The difference in temps between my two cores is pretty big:
Idle - Core #0 = 39 & Core #1 = 23
Load - Core #0 = 48 & Core #1 30
Measured using Core Temp 0.95.
I had been using an air cooler, but switched to a water cooling setup on the cpu, and still the temps persist at these wierd readings. I even decided to lap my cpu and water cooling block but this doesn't seem to have brought any joy. I reseated the cpu and am using Artic Silver tim.
My mobo is the Striker Extreme (!) and i had wondered if the nb heatpipes had been interfering but its hard to tell.
Also i swapped the cpu out to another system and it ran at 25 degrees (according to the mobo monitoring software) and yet in my current system it states a temp of 52 degrees!
Is it possible for the temp sensors to be faulty?
