I was thinking of getting two of these for an Asus Maximus Formula X48 motherboard. Was wondering if:

1) Is it any good?
2) Will it work oakay with my chosen motherboard

£90 for 8Gb memory sounds too good to be true...is it?!?

Okay, after 50-odd views and one response (from someone that hasn't personally given it a go!) I'm assuming it's a bit pants  :(

well tbh, at the same speed, and timings im pretty sure all ram is the exact same performance.

So if it fails, you RMA or it will be fine.

Either way its not that cheap, compared to like cheap corsair ram, so i wouldnt get it, but last time i checked it was only 1GB sticks, so i would get that anyway...

as others have said, if you run it as it shoudl be run, it will be fine (always the risk of getting a bad stick with any ram) if you try and overclock it, I woudl suggest going with a more recognised overclocking manufacturer

I have used ocuk ram many times, back in the day of DDR1 and never had any fail (have had corsair and crucial ram fail though)

Ive got 2x1gb sticks and they work fine, although I have noticed a slight drop in performance compared to my previous geil ram. But that could be just be my imagination.
