Tattoo place - recommendations?

Anyone know of a decent tattooist around Slough or preferably around Bristol?
Or, anyone know a decent online forum (preferably safe for work though ;] ) that I could ask people?

If you know what style your after and are willing to make the trip to London I can help you out. At lot of very high quality artists work in London but you tend to find differant studios specialise in deifferant styles.

There is a forum on Bodyjewelleryshop.com that could help but is focused around piercing obviously.
 
Im not sure about Slough or Bristol, but one piece of advice is make sure there is a waiting list and you can't just walk in and get it done. I find the walk in ones are crap!

p.s dont post a pic of your tattoo on here if you get it done unless you want 90% of your thread full of a holes telling you it's fake :rolleyes:

Yeah seconded, waiting lists are usually good sign. I'm currently on a one motnh waiting list for a consultation at one studio let alone a waiting list for actual work getting done.

If you fancy seeing a broad range of artists to help decide you might want to visit the london tattoo convention on the 26th-28th of this month.

Cheers. Unfortunately I will be looking to get it done on a weekend (bristol) or early evening (slough), iwont be taking a day off to get it done if its too far away (get paid daily so dont get holiday).

Just after some roman numerals and maybe a gladiator helmet / mask

Essentially im after something that should be pretty easy, however, I don't want to just walk into any old place, as like has been said, its better to have someone good regardless of the simplicity. I will be in Bristol on the 26th-28th, as we are off out celebrating my birthday (oh what joy!).

That place isnt listed on any of the sites I've looked at, but then neither is Skin Deep down in old market.

Pics don't do it justice, it's a lot more 'vibrant' IRL. It's probably about 40% done so far, haven't had any done for a few weeks now though, should be starting again soon.

You generally have to book a few weeks in advance with him, but he does keep slots open between bookings on saturdays for people who drop in, but be aware he gets VERY busy, so you may be hanging around for a while for him to squeeze you in.

Yeah can understand that, more looking to pop in and say hi rather than get the work done just yet :]
