Im not sure about Slough or Bristol, but one piece of advice is make sure there is a waiting list and you can't just walk in and get it done. I find the walk in ones are crap!
p.s dont post a pic of your tattoo on here if you get it done unless you want 90% of your thread full of a holes telling you it's fake![]()
If you know what style your after and are willing to make the trip to London I can help you out. At lot of very high quality artists work in London but you tend to find differant studios specialise in deifferant styles.
There is a forum on Bodyjewelleryshop.com that could help but is focused around piercing obviously.
Tattoo?
Didn't want to be different then![]()
Yeah seconded, waiting lists are usually good sign. I'm currently on a one motnh waiting list for a consultation at one studio let alone a waiting list for actual work getting done.
If you fancy seeing a broad range of artists to help decide you might want to visit the london tattoo convention on the 26th-28th of this month.
I thought I did and then I realised that chessington was nowhere near where I thought it wasAnyone know a good tattooist in Chessington area?![]()

You generally have to book few weeks in advance with him, but he does keep slots open on saturdays for people who drop in. Be aware he gets VERY busy on Saturdays, so you may be hanging around for a while for him to squeeze you in.
Just after some roman numerals and maybe a gladiator helmet / mask
