MOtherboard choice

Hello guys, i currently have an ASUS p5k-e but i have a 4870x2 card, and the place i got my pc from has agreed to change the board for a pcie v2 board should i want one, i pay the difference of course.

Right, so what should i get?

I'm on a p35 now, so should i go for the x38 or x48

my choice are from the boards below!

I've seen reports of incompatibility issues between HD 4870X2 and X38/X48 motherboards. You will want to watch what you buy!
 
They are both very good boards and are likely going to perform very similarly. Guess you want to look at the extra features of each and see which are more appealing.
 
whats the deal with pcie1.0a/pcie2.0 16/8.

Isnt 8x pcie2.0 the same as pcie1.0a x16 bandwidth wise?

Wont a p5q have enough bandwidth there for 2x 4870s ?
