Haven't posted a while here may start posting again:

Here's some pictures of my car:

2001 Saxo VTR (98bhp) 38,923 Miles

Before I lowered it at my mates house next to his Saxo:

I know Saxo's may not be to everyone's taste, but I don't do the 'chav' scene, I don't even like the Saxo owners (why I took off the stickers).

2 questions;

1) Whats going on with the number plate?

2) Is that a standard paint scheme (two tone greys)?

Thanks Jon, well only mods are:

- BMC Enclosed Induction Kit (Best thing for a Saxo and Chavs can't afford them because they cost £180)
- Lowered on Eibach Sportline Springs (Best setup for a Saxo if you cannot afford Coilovers which I cannot

)
- Full Magnex system everyone has one but is regarded as the best system for a Saxo.

Yes it is standard, they are fairly common in VTR form but quite rare in VTS form.

They are French style number plates with UK font.

Well it's 50/50 really because I opted for the UK font which theoretically makes them legal, however the 'F' is not really allowed.

My mate had them but he had French font and within a week of using them he was pulled and fined. I have had mine on for 3 months yet and not one officer has said anything.

No I wasn't sorry, I was playing CS:S

I'm not a part of that scene, one part of driving my car I don't like. Guys in cars want to race but I don't do street racing, considering how many people I've seen crash Saxo's

Can I ask also Kitchester, is that meant to be a dig at me? Or is that a genuine question?

That's ok, there was an identical one being a tool and being unable to corner even at the speed the in-laws 1 litre Micra that I'm borrowing can.

I like the car but I don't understand why you've fitted those horrible lights or why you want to pretend you are French. Put good lights on it and UK plates and it'll look good.

Well the lights are Jewells I have the standard one's, I bought them off my mate, I have a pic with the original lights and exhaust so you can decide if you like it better:

I kinda regret putting the French plates on, it was the scene I was in I'll just keep them on until I can be bothered to buy standard ones. I needed new plates because my standard ones were damaged.

There appears to be an oil drum under your car.

I like the rear lights personally, have them on mine.

Thanks Jansey, I saw that guy is a manger of something, maybe he gets irritated by lads who make a mess, so I sympathise with him.

Magnex's are like Marmite, you either love them or hate them, the guys who don't like them either stay standard or use a Supersprint.

Can think of worse 1st cars. Not too sure on the paint scheme though, although it is a standard colour.
