2008 Italian GP - Race 14/18

Anyone hoping to see another impressive STR performance??

After a whole year of saying Bourdais is good (and stop nocking him at the tv fools) he had a good race :D

Anyway my moneys on Ferrari pulling one of of the bag as its monza, or massa and hammy taking each other out......

Also itvs stats say it hasnt rained in monza since 1981! therefore chances of rain less....

Is it me or have there been more wet races than usual this year? I seem to remember going entire seasons without a wet race in the past, tho that could just be my rapidly failing mem...um...what was I saying?

jet stream above europe is "stuck" a lot further south than normal. man made global warming is a total myth, it wouldnt supprise me if the oposite happens in the next few decades...

anyway can dons please keep thread clean from Spa trash talk... might need to put some overtime in LOL :D

I wonder which Kimi will turn up this weekend? Time to throw the full backing behind Massa yet?
TBH I don't think he'll be given a choice whether to back Massa or not, regardless of what Domenicali is saying to the press. The only way Kimi will win another race this year is if he's leading the race with at least 1 car between him and Felipe.

So do i, win #3 for Mr Edwards in the Porsche Supercup :p
I've been following him on Eurosport too, and the videos he posts on youtube :)

Was a great race for him last time out at Spa.

Having just returned from a week in Europe to see the GP at Spa (see rant in other thread :)) I can say that there is a 100% chance of rain at some point over the weekend. I was on the continent from Thursday to Wednesday and it rained every day except 1. I know I was a bit further north than Monza, but its all under a huge cloud at the moment.

Its also doing a lot of raining for 10 mins, then drying, and then raining again, which would be great for messing around with tactics and such.

Does anyone have the speedtrap data from the last few races? Whos got the outright fastest car?

I dont follow the Porsche cup, Its just good fun to watch, so when the British national anthem played for the Podium at Spa I was surprised... still grabbed my St Georges Cross and waved it like a loon though.... :)

Ouch, I have been out since the 31st and it hasn't rained once, thats some bad luck you have got there.

Well, it was Spa, its kinda the law for it to rain there. :)

True true, but i've been everywhere including the swiss alps and not a drop. :D Hopefully this weekend will be another good race, havent seen the last one yet waiting for me when I get home but from the sounds of it its a cracker.

Just dont do what my girlfriend did... went to the shop with 10 laps to go!

There arent still people trying to get a drivers agreement for 'no racing through the first chicane' at Monza are there? If I remember rightly this was normally a Villenueve thing?

was a schumacher idea after 9/11 i think for one race that villeneuve said no too
but hopefully no chicane cutting this race

Its fun when they go straight on at Monza, exploding polystyrene signs are cool :)
