Animals already have far to many rights. They shouldn't be pushing for a ban on transporting. But an increase in animal care whilst they are being transported. Like they did in the past.

Signed - also signed the a petition a few weeks ago calling for more local abotoirs - therefore the pooi animals wont have to travel as far.

In fact, I think kids should be taight at school how to kill animals for food. then we won have to transport them so far as well - just do it at home!

I signed this petition despite being an avid carnivore who believes that if animals have to die to satisfy my appetite for burgers and bacon sandwiches then so be it!

However I am of the opinion that the suffering of animals being transported to slaughterhouses in this manner is just wrong.

Anyway did you even bother reading the petition, AcidHell ?. It is actualy about the rules being flouted by certain member states and asking to introduce short finite journey limits. Not for a ban on transporting.

At least read something about things before you condemn them.

Its digusting. If I saw someone mistreating an animal, I would punch them till they were knocked out.

A better way of stopping it would be to stop buying crap meat from your bloody supermarkets. Not via a online petition.
