9/11 no mass take-over ???

just wondered why theres no mass 9/11 tribute this year ?

the whole site has always been taken over by it when it comes around so i wonder why not this time

Agreed. I'd always used music to mark the years apart, but because it's been slashed to pieces mostly thanks to reality telly (X Factor, Pop Idot etc.), they've all rolled into one.

As much as I feel for the families of 9/11, WW2 is slightly bigger.

I echo the above comments.. I was going to post saying "its been along time" but thought I'd get shot down

I must say I was suprised not to see the forum closed today. Can't say it bothered me though.

Comparing it to WW2 is really quite pointless. It's entirely different.

WW2 was a huge conflict drawn out over years, 9/11 was a shockingly unexpected and unlawful attack. No one in that building was at war, they were sitting at their desks at work. Let's not forget the people in the planes or the members of the emergency services who died as well.

Not anything else to say about this really so it's closed.
