Holy ****.

If you saw a pub band play that live they'd get booed off stage. Just what the hell are KOL playing at? That is quite possibly one of the least remarkable songs I've heard in a good few years, tuneless, soulless garbage.

I know they are very much in vogue at the moment but please use your ears people:confused:

Please go and watch this and think about where they should be heading musically, forwards or backwards? IMO they are going backwards.


Not sure how a band gets progressively worse and worse.
 
i always find with KOL that the first few songs of their albums are corkers and the final few tracks tend to be a bit meh. just my opinion
 
Not sure what to make of this yet...some amazing songs, but not fast songs which is a bit of a shame, defiently better than the last, but not there best imho
 
Carnt wait for the album, carnt get enough of them at the moment !

They are on Radio 1 now doing a small gig ! sounds awesome :D

Oasis and Kings Of Leon within a couple of weeks :D i am happy !
 
Im not sure i like it.

I love the first 4 tracks, but for me it drifts off mid way through. Im sure it will grow on me.

I hope this is the last in this particular sound they have got. 2 albums that were raw and fresh.. now 2 albums that a bit more "professional" sounding and thought through.. I know it sounds daft putting it like that :p

Hope they change direction again when they record again.

I find the 2nd track on this new album sounds a bit like Achtung Baby (U2)

Maybe its just me...

yea i agree, its a shame they didnt do a few more up tempo songs, but the second half of the album is a grower! :p
 
A very positive vote for me on this one.

One of the few albums around at the moment that I enjoy all of the way through.
 
I rather like it, on my first few listens I didnt like it too much, but after that its really grown on me, now put as my 2nd favourite album of theirs after Aha Shake Heartbreak.

Anyone hear them on Radio 1 last night?

Indeed.

I'm going to sit it out for a couple of years until they release that album where they attempt to get back to their roots and record some good old rock 'n' roll. I'm sure they'll ditch the Emo haircuts and return to form sooner or later:)
