18+ gigs?

how tight are gigs generally on 18+? i'm 18 in like 2 months but going to a gig in under 2 weeks which is suppose to be 18 plus, all my friends that are going are well into their 20's so think i'd get in alright?
oh yea, gig's in dublin btw

depends on the venue on how tight they are

some around here will let anyone in and some have had warnings/fines before so are really strict

Its impossible to know really. However if you don't try and get in you will never know.

how big a venue is it? bigger venues have less time to worry about who's coming in so long as they have a ticket, if it's sub 300 then you're at higher risk

I've never been checked for age at any 18+ gigs. I think they only check if you look really young, can never be sure though.
