hmm ok, so you'll go into the same set of instances, same mobs, same layout, same attack strategy over and over. Oh no, boss mob X is going into phase2, watch out, it might do something different this time :s
PvE is my idea of a total zzzzz time. Once you get the strat you win 100% of the time, total zzzzzzz'age.
No..it means that IF they had applied the patch to the EU at the same time as the US it would have been in our primetime. In order for it to not be in our prime time they have delayed it til the following morning. No patches are planned for prime time.

Right, I'll try to explain my declaration of muppetness - it's not that I think they would actually patch during prime time, more the the way they phrased their post, which is typical of the way they do things and needlessly gets peoples backs up. They really need a PR guy to vet everything they say. Even the apology by the CEO came across as a bit arrogant.

There is a general zone channel, its /1 by default. Though hardly anybody uses it as most are either talking in guild/group/warband or voice chat

Its definately true that they need a decent PR rep to word their statements better. At the moment, they say something quite reasonable but the way its worded only 25% of the people reading understand what they are saying. (the patch thing being a prime example). Thats great if you're one of the 25%, but not so good if you are one of the majority 75%

On the plus side, the EU standard edition people get their headstart a day before the US standard edition people

yeah ok, if you think that then you cant have spent much time doing pvp. In a 1 v 1 situation you "might" be able to say that IF (big if) you discounted different play styles and randomness introduced by timing.

its still the same talents used for each class to best defeat them, some even might say 'scripted' i have played enough PVP to know thats its not my thing its fun for a while but gets repetative.. got figure
i am looking forward to this game in all its aspects though. should be fun
