In america you gotta pay so to 'stop' them just using a euro account there randomly giving a code to Europeans.

I dont really understand the logic but there it is. I got a code this morning, havent bothered to use it yet, will do though.

As far I can tell yes,

just finished having a session on the MS2 demo, I'm really not sure they choose the right track to demo this game, it feels a bit too open and sparse, they need a bit more diversity on the actual track itself, atm it just feels like a flat texture, they need more rubble/grass/water/foliage etc so it blends in with the outer environment a bit more, apart from that it felt pretty good, much like how MS1 felt tbh.

Geez since when do sequels look far worse that their predecessors?

Well can I at least hope it's a deeper driving game?

Since they introduce things like split screen

There is a chance that they've lowered the texture resolutions etc in order to decrease the file size. Keep in mind the motorstorm 1 demo clocked in at well over 1gig (1.3 iirc) so there's always hoping.

graphically I must admit that I hope the demo isn't representative of the final version as it's devoid of detail. Gameplay wise it's an improvement with better physics and framerate with each individual vehicle having its own defined characteristics which I thought didn't come across as well as it should have in motorstorm 1.

Shouldn't demos be made available to everyone to help sales? The gaming industry is ass backwards these days.

I guess when its a 3 months old uncomplete demo lol, play the old MS demo and compare that to the released game, big difference.

I think it's because, as smalls stated, unfinished. To release a demo to the masses in an unfinished state tends to have a negative effect, this demo is being distributed to people who have applied to do beta testing and therefor (ideally) will be more understanding of the fact that it isn't quite up to scratch yet (hopefully).

i love it, just seems more Motorstorm fun for me, deffo day1 purchase, graphics look excatly the same as 1st when playing. Like the fact you can skip crash's now, handling is exactly the same also. PURE and Motorstorm will have me covered for offroad dirt racing for the forseable future, and i still own and love the orginal Motorstorm

BTW them screenshots when in motion look nothing as bad as what they seem, a good example of "lets take and find the worst in a game"

Its not finished. Those screenshots do look bad but I cant see the devs producing worser graphics on a predecessor, even if the graphics are the same as 1 they will still be amazing, Motorstorm 1 was quality.
