Civic VTi Damaged - Honda Forums?

Guys

A mates civic vti has been damaged and we're looking to sell it on...

I was a member of Hondarevs but that seems to have died...

Any decent replacement forums worth pimping the car for spares/repair?

We might, but hes after a new car anyway, so we're thinking Focus ST170

Hes had insurance quotes of silly money, but I think it could be done a looot cheaper, as usual.

Only hard thing would be trying to get the doors in that colour.

No that arch wouldn't be that hard at all.

Any idea on value as is? Is the 1.6 vti engine worth much, its mint?

He might end up scrapping, i think its a waste, moreso the engine...

On a first scan on the OP I thought was saying your mates died and your looking to sell his damaged civic vti... :eek:

Personally I would just look for a couple of doors and bodge the arch...

That will fly out on Ebay, p plate motor like that has to be worth £750, my mate sold his n reg Civic 1.6 for £650 and that was previous model to yours.
