e6300 3.5ghz high temps?

One thing I noticed with the high FSB needed by these chips is that the motherboard seems to hit a wall first, max FSB this DS4 can boot with is 514MHz with the FSB & MCH volts in the bios maxed out.

From what I've seen the Asus P5B boards are much better to get a higher FSB, your overclock shows that I should have got a better board :p

Thats good for a DS4, thats nearly 3.6ghz on a E6300.
I have a DS3P in the cupboard that has the DS4 heatsinks fitted, that I got back from RMA, might dig it out and see what it can do

OP, you have almost a 100% overclock and pretty reasonable temps, so I'd be happy with that :D

I am currently running it at 3.35GHz and the temps are just bearable. 52C idle and 64C Load.

With better cooling no doubt it would acheive a 100% overclock but I'm not too bothered about it. It has exceeded my original expectations so can't really ask for more.:p
