hardware:
Corsair 650W PSU
AMD Athlon 6400+ 3.2Ghz Stock Cooler - 40 Degrees Idle
XpertVision 9600GT 512MB - 29 Degrees Idle
Asrock Motherboard
2x Dvd Rewriters
2x 250GB HDD

all housed in a Jeantech Achilles Case.
If i upgrade to an Antec Nine Hundred case nad upgrade to a different CPU cooler, will i notice i big difference in the temps?

Antec 300 with two Yate Loon fans is a better option.

Dust filters pre-installed for one, cheaper and less dust can simply fall in through the top mesh.

I used to own a 900, and it gets horrifically filthy even with filters.

Also, you Will notice a big difference in temperatures.

1 rear 120 x 25 mm TriCool™ Fan with 3-speed switch control.
- 1 top special 140 x 25 mm TriCool™ Fan with 3-speed switch control
- 2 front (optional) 120 mm fans to cool the hard drives
- 1 side (Optional) 120 x 25 mm Fan to cool graphic cards

with all the optional fans added to it, it is almost the same case, apart from it looks pretty plain

edit: will http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-008-CS&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1084 Corsair 650w PSU run my Hardware and all The case fans with no problem?

Yeah, the 650W is absolutely fine for your system.

The Yate Loons only cost about £5 each off OCUK. The side fan isn't needed for a 9600GT. So the total case price is about £45 as opposed to £66 for the 900. The 300 looks plainer but I got annoyed with the plastic top of the 900. No point to it as it doesn't add to the case's looks (separate piece of plastic instead of uni-body metal).

k thanks for that suggestion, definatly got me thinking about that one now, a lot cheaper, will provide same/better cooling and then i'd have extra cash for a better CPU cooler

The only benefit of the current Antec 900 is the two (tiny) cable management holes. But everything else is pretty much pointless in light of the 300.

Good CPU coolers include Artic Cooling Freezer 64 and the Scythe Infinity/Mugen:

yep, it was actually the Artic Cooling Freezer 64 that i was looking at, as recommended by others here for bieng a really good cooler especailly at its price.

edit: is this a long case? capable of quite long larger graphics card in it? thinking on changing graphics card soon aswell.

As far as I know the 300 is the same length as the 900 and the 900 could house an 8800GTX (one of the longest cards).

What card are you planning on buying?

If its a 4850, will be fine.

A 4870/GTX280 should pretty much be 100% okay. Should check elsewhere first though.

PLUS, the Artic Freezer is good but is supposedly fiddly to fit. The Scythe is more expensive but is also very awesome.

Get a 900. Dust ain't as bad as people make out. Just hoover your room regular.

Dust is bad in mine just now but i haven't cleaned mine out since i got it a year and a half ago. Just needs a dust out every now and then which i plan to do when i fit my new hd.

about temperature;

My cpu dropped 10degrees when i upgraded my case from cheap 2 fan case

Its also "de" dusts your room for you ^^ as my front panel needs a wipe ever week or so and it collects quite a lot of hair.

the 900 case is an excellent case defiantly recommend it
