Roy Keane tells it like it is

The thing is United were very dominant in England but they weren't that dominant in Europe (with the exception of the Champs League in 1999). Not saying he was a bad player, just not that great.

I could name 5 players better than him around that time, of course, that's my opinion, I am Spanish and we see football a bit different...

Even United should remember Fernando Redondo, when he literally ate Roy Keane in 2000 when Real Madrid played against United.

Sure, I remember Flaco, truly exceptional control and ability, that doesn't mean that Roy Keane wasn't a fantastic midfielder though. He was by any measure I can think of.

I don't know why people are siding with Warner, the guy who hates England and English football, and was responsible for the World Cup in 2006 going elsewhere. I know you all have a chip on your shoulders with Man United and all, but don't let the red mist obscure your logic. Warner is the bigger douche of the two by far.

I realise you're Spanish and thus don't mean to seem like I'm mocking your English, but the mental image you've just given me is sheer genius.

I wish someone like Keane was FIFA president. Blatter, Platini and Warner are all trying to out-do each other in the biggest douche stakes at the moment. :(

Never particularly liked him although rated him highly as a player, his ability to visibly lift a team by nothing more than his presence was remarkable. Def agree with his comments in that article, can't believe a muppet like Warner can be so high up in the sport, clueless lol
