Renewing your license after 10 years

it just expires 11/10/38

My well informed girlfriend sat next to me has just corrected Fox (of all people) in saying that a replacement licence due to expiration, damage or loss costs £22. She had to replace hers after being mugged by some Southampton scum.

EDIT: WTF - I can see a reciept for £22 for a replacement, Fox says £19, yet the DVLA site currently says £17.50! Nice and consistent there. NAturally my girlfriend is raving mad and gooing to sue the government for the loss of £4.50!

Its free to change the address though

Of course its not entirely legit

My paper licence expires 23/03/2042.

Unfortunately you have to send in the old photocard in order to make a change of address so you can't update your photo or replace a lost card free of charge by "changing address"
