I am thinking of attaching my power block to the back of my desk... how would I go about it? Can I get some brackets or something? If so, where could I get such brackets?

you want some of that metal strip stuff with the holes in you could bend it round the block and fix it to the desk with som self tappers.

Good descriptions of your movements InvG!

How permanently you want to attach it? Metal strips screwed in and bent round would be simple enough to remove.

Personally then I'd bodge it via drilling two holes at the top of the surge protector one either end about 1" in, then loop long cable ties through the hole and then around the bottom, slide surge protector in and tighten. Wouldn't work that well if you regularly plug stuff in and out as would move a fair bit but if ts just left there it would fine.

pardon the Paint skillz,( im just bored and wanted something to do). You could get some thin sheet ali, or steel and make something like this. should be easy enough.

It wouldn't.

Although I suppose he could put screws in the wall, put cable ties on that, then put cable ties round the power adapter, and then link the two sets of cable ties and make one huge mess that doesn't work properly. :p

The funniest thing i've read all night. :D

Industrial strength velcro for the win!

I'm using some to hold my front number plate on the bumper, and the bathroom mirror to the wall tiles.
