Is the beta still going or has it been shot down? Will be home in a while and would love to have a final shot. Are the british stores sending pre-order keys if i pre-purchase the game now? Was planning on just getting it from a danish place but it is a lot cheaper, and most of the danish ones have run out of head-start keys.

Nope, that sounds about right, I'm not on at the moment, but was working for me earlier.
On the plus side, dont worry too much about it, it'll all be gone in a couple of hours anyway
Now if I am honest the WAR launch for me was worse than AOC, yet I feel they have handled it in a far better manor. The openness of the developers is great and it makes me actually want to stick with them while they work it out. Funcom really didn't do themselves any favors by blanking the community.

Ok, so the headstart servers have been announced.. now I'm new to all this sort of MMO stuff, but I assume you cant change servers for your char?

They havent made any mention of character transfers, though usually later in an MMOs life they offer that ability. Initially though you cant change servers for your char.
