2008 Italian GP - Race 14/18

Yes indeed, was reading an article last week in motorsport magazine a month or so back about brundle and him being one of the guys to still speak his mind, max mosely trying to get him fired etc.

MB rox in my eyes !!!!!

so you dont want any entertainment at all then bernie....hhmmmmm
( ohh sorry he wants the entertainment delayed until AFTER the end of the race)

Lets just hope the BBC realise this and take him on for their coverage.

SC start isnt so bad, gives time for Nakajima to ram some people off before the race even starts proper :)

Oh, do be quiet....

The FIA have actually clarified the rule now (better late than not at all) - if you retain or gain a position by going off the road, you have to give back the position and wait until after the next corner before trying again.

Still say the penalty Hamilton got was wrong, but if anyone does the same now then there actually is a rule covering it.

Im really glad they have actually stipulated that now - but they cant argue that point in regards to spa surely, that has never actually been mentioned before (even apart from the charlie Whiting part in all of it)

edit

Massa gained an unfair advantage by cutting the chicane on his warm up lap as now he knows he can go straighter off the track than on it - bol, Im only joking but you all know what I mean hahaha

Literally anyone could win this race haven't thought that for a long time!

Whats the actual point of the safety car start? Does he keep going round till the rain gets better (which could be never) or just for a few laps to get the cars spread out a bit?

Incidently what happens if the SC falls off the track?
Is there a safety car for the safety car?

They go round to spread the field out and assess the conditions. The drivers have a large say in saying wether the car comes in or not. Its basically to form a dry line and get everyone used to the conditions.

There are 2 safety cars and 2 medicals cars, so technically, yes

OK I can confirm using my techniques from F1 CE on the PS3 that spinning multiple times has no effect on you not winning at Italy - therefore Massa will win at Monza...

ps3ud0
