14390 on 3dmark06 with a 4870x2

Guys any reason that my 3dmark06 score is so low?
I have all the settings in CCC set to low of turned off. any ideas why score is so low? :mad:

As 06 is old and crap, run Vantage (if your on Vista) and play some games.

06 is worthless now, I barely get more with SLI GTX 280 than a single 8800GTX when they are almost 3 times faster in everything else.

does look too low bud, i got 18.1k with stock 4870x2 and a old E6600.
dont have a screenshot but i got 11k vantage

your pci-e @ 16x yes?

What speed is your cpu running at the 4870x2 is heavily cpu bottle knecked at low speeds if stock bump it up and see your score rise. Also 06 loves quad cores 2 much. A quad can add on average around 2000 points over a dual more when heavily overclocked. In games i think the duals which go to higher speeds win in all games bar the ones that take advantage off the 4 cores not to many of them atm though.

Try reinstalling the drivers as i had one install that made my games and benches run really low no matter how i changed my ccc setting still was like i was running heavy aa settings. Tbh though how are your games running?

Well playing COD4 over plays well i may get the odd micro stutter but been the odd slow down but all good.
well look at reloading 8.8 again.

I score that on my overclocked 4850, the only realy difference is that I have a Q6600...

anyone's cpu actually run the CPU test in 3DMark06 at a decent framerate, max i get is 1fps :eek:

onkly quads get a litltle better and by that i mean it sometimes spikes to 2fps lmao

What clock is your e8500 at. My cf'd 4850's return just over 18k with my e8500 @ 4ghz.

I assume your's is running @ stock since the 4870X2 should surely better my cards.

My score is 14784 with an E8400 and single 4850. Your score is very low.
