Vodafone - Poor choice of phones

I'm due for an upgrade on Monday and have therefore been having a look around the vodafone stores for their current choice of phones. Is it just me or are they really poor at the moment?

I've not had a look around all the other networks so not really compared too much but there just doesn't seem to be anything particularly exciting to move to. Apart from the iPhone on O2 nothing particularly good seems to have been released.

Does anyone else find this?

Well the HTC Diamond and Samsung Omnia are both good alternatives to the Iphone. Lacking a little on the interface but with better camera, bluetooth, applications etc.

Personally I'm after the xperia x1 (end of month, been waiting for 6 months for damn thing!!!) as I really don't like the iphone, its just not worth the money in my view.

And the interface seems to have been improved over the early reviews which is good too - you tube has some developer videos which seem to show it being fairly snappy :)

Luckily for me I can upgrade my phone when I want and vodafone will be selling the x1 so come october 1st I'll be ringing up for an upgrade - that will be fun .

I had this problem with O2, I have an N95 now and especially following the latest firmware I cant spot anything much better than it.

The Solution, jump to O2 simplicity, 1 month rolling contract, Free O2 to O2 and I can get a new contract when something I want appears :D

is there no bluetooth on the iphone?

nm, just found out that it supports calls only, does this mean i can connect it to my cars bluetooth system?

Yes you can connect the iPhone to your car for calls, no file transfer though.
