Any guess as to when 64GB iPod Touch will be available?

I sold my 32GB and realised I shouldn't have done

Now I can either pick up a G2 Touch now or if a 64GB one is likely to come out this year then I'll hold out for that. Any logical guesses on when we might see a 64GB Touch and I know it's only just been updated but when is G3 likely to come out, 6 months time?

February '09, if the 1G 32gb is anything to go by, 3g will likely be in a year.

Why is it you only realise how much you use something when it's gone >_<

Very, very tempted to just get the V2 32G, it will probably last me fine until a 64G G3 comes out

If you where able to use it before with no issues then i would just get the V2.

Looks nicer, better battery life, better screen/audio quality, integrated speaker, volume control buttons, support for Nike+ and faster transfer speeds.

Get me the Apple keyboard for convincing you while you're at it

Must say i'm a bit like this

had a PSP at launch, didnt play it, sold it, now just bought one. Had a PS3 at launch, didnt play it, sold it, now I really want it again

Edit - Nike+ has sold it for me to get a nano, was hoping theyd do it on the iphone but no cigar

It was full and I was juggling around a few things (25GB music and I like to have a few episodes of TV series on there).

When I sent it back to apple because of the dust issue? I guess I knew it was coming back in a few days and I was very busy when it was away with a new job. It really doesn't help that I've just found out we can listen to music at work =/

Will have to wait for the 32GB iPhone, otherwise Apple will be eroding their own iPod sales.

I ordered one of these today. I think 64GB will come out in January (just a size increase, no new features). Possibly phasing out the 8GB at that time. Design won't change now for at least 1 year.

Without a doubt. I think around 389ish. Seems steeper, now the rest of the range has dropped in price, but you always expect to pay a premium for the highest capacity available at the time.

Not unless Apple are idiots, SSD's are drastically dropping in price, espically with flash memory manufacturers ramping up production. They will just phase out the lowest capacity one and keep the current pricing structure with higher capacities.

Smart and Genius playlists are your friends, you dont need 64gb of data with you at all times.

Then why don't we all use 10GB ipods?

I spend long periods of time away from my main PC so can't connect it all the time to reshuffle the library very often.

If the 64GB will directly replace the 32GB (February at the earliest ideally) then I can justify getting the 32GB now and upgrading later as I can manage on 32GB for now.

Exactly, Joke I mean yes for that situation your right, my iPhone gets plugged in every day so I get all my videos and stuff then.
