Asus P5q - Deluxe auto voltage settings ???? help ???

Hi Me again

is it really such a bad thing to leave the voltage settings on auto???

ive read that its because the auto settings pump to much voltage through the system

for instance i run my memory at 2.0v
if left on auto what woul it be putting through my memory???

Vcore undervolts as usual, tho it can be combatted with the Loadline Calibration option if you want.

if my memory is rated at 1.8v
(giel blackdragon)
how much can i safely put through it ???

i do have a fan blowing onto it

You'll have to put it at the lowest ie 1.8v, I have the same problem in that my RAM is rated at 1.8v so according to the above post it'll run at 1.88v which shouldn't be that much of a problem.

The p5q dlx will overvolt on auto or the lowest manual setting, thats why its advised to up the voltages two notches (+0.02v) to prevent this.
