Its preorders only atm and the server were on already has a queue of over 190 for the last hour or so. Thats gonna be fun when its full retail I think.

Sorry but Im potentially paying to play a game I can only play at certain times?

We gotta wait for someone else to stop using a service theyre paying for in order to use it? wth is the point in that :/

Do we get a discount for the amount of times we try to play and are told its full? nope

It'll sort itself out in the end it's balancing the servers and faction sides so all is fair and equal. In the end there will be no queues etc once all become balanced, same happened in the beta.

Yea i'm having the same problem, wonder what will happen now :( Hope the restart the server and allow us to join soon :D

This afternoon at 14:30 CET we will be restarting all servers. This is to fix a problem where the ingame time is stuck at midnight. The servers will be unavailable for approximately 30 minutes and we will update this news to keep you informed of the situation.

I just tried logging onto a different server and I'm getting an error along the lines of 'Your account is already logged in'.

Meh?

Edit: Bugger, I'm on my dinner break too - pah the inconviences!

It's an annoyance but it's a very minor thing for them to fix, and I'm sure that they have bigger priorities right now- such as the 'permanently midnight' bug being experienced across all servers in Europe :P.

As for people complaining about queues: there's a 3-tier population restriction system in place by Mythic/GOA. Yesterday on the Collector's Edition headstart it was on cap setting 1, for the duration of the Standard Edition headstart it is on cap setting 2, and then when the game goes full retail they will raise the ceiling to cap level 3. It's just a careful process of babysitting and development to make sure that cross-faction populations across the European servers stay balanced and fair. It's an important and crucial thing to achieve/maintain in WAR... where endgame relies heavily on PvP and faction wars, servers with huge imbalances will surely be pointless!

Ironically, I bet nobody has actually bothered to read it even once, hell people are agreeing to stuff without even knowing what it is they are agreeing to.

I remember once when Sony put a clause in EQs EULA that said "The user agrees to supply us with their first born child"...just to see if anyone actually noticed it. :D
 
Im getting really frusterated now. Just got a mail back from GOA stating that my early access code was not accepted because my account has not yet been verified. nevermind the fact that i had been playing the beta for 2 days!!!

Yeah remember Vader to his driving was just as bad as yours ;)

Im going to be playing tonight waiting to see what server my mates are going to so not sure if I will be on the server most folk here are on.
 
quit worrying about the servers they are beeing capped to spread the playerbase amongst them.

on CE headstart all servers were capped at 1/3 capacity
on SE headstart they are capped at 1/2 capacity
in a few days they will be capped at the normal capacity which is said to be quite a bit underneath what the servers can handle so if needed the server cap can be increased beyond what is itended.

oh and lets not forget the game only just launched so everyone is crammed on the servers things will even out when the geeks stop playing 24hours a day and people go back to work.
