just got a nice new 9800gtx but tryed fitting it and its covering the SATA slots on my mobo (+ in the way of the hdd rack but thats not realy a prob)
Does it have to go in the top PCI-e slot or can it go in the nest one down and still work? i know that the lower PCI-e slot is only x8 speed on my mobo but there is something you can do to change them both to x16 speed as i rember reading it when i 1st got the board but cannot rember what that was think it was just a jumper or something.
need help asap as the comp in in bits on the floor and if i dont get my eve fix i will die or something.

Is it covering all the SATA ports, if not then just move the cables over to a port that isn't covered. I have this same problem with my mobo. Also you could try using right angled SATA cables, no idea if they would work TBH but if you have some then give it a go.
