ghost imaging.. just tried G14 - yuck!

Last time i used ghost was about 6 years ago, maybe longer, put disc in drive, boot from it, little GUI menu, get drive imaged, put onto CD, use on other PCs. was nice, simple and compacted...

Ghost 14..... what on earth..... completly different to what i wanted. All i want is something simple, nothing with added bits.

What do you guys use for making a image. just a simple plain basic image of a HDD in a PC.

Ghost! I make the Ghost bootdisks and boot of them then make an image in DOS. Is that option not available to you in Ghost 14 (think I use v9 / 10 ish)

Acronis True Image is amazing software, install, create your bootable media, and use the boot disk to create an image etc.

Will this Acronis do it like ghost use to, ie, make a bootable disk and let me image other PC's as well with the image?

I believe so yes. (Providing they have the same hardware of course)
