heavens above no :D has to be a fiesta or a corsa as far as im concerned, saxos 106 are too flimsy ford and vaux parts easy to get and cheap cars to insure and easy to fix, fiat parts are stupidly expensive and can take ages to arive

*edit* Ka is a good bet too like others have said, my fave holiday rent a car :)

needless to say in 1999 it probably wasnt a bad citycar, the 1999 ford ka is still a decent car by todays standards, id love to know where the fiat compares now? btw whats car sex? is it different to normal sex? other than in a car maybe im to old
 
trying to have sex in a car is like trying to wrestle a greased pig to the floor, which in my friends case is a very acurate description of actually what happened in his car :|
 
Fiesta 1.25. Micra is a god-awful car. I have been riving the in-laws car (Y plate, 75k, 1litre) whilst they are away and the MX5 is getting fixed and I must say, it is more terrifying to drive than anything I've owned - GTO TT, 200SX, MR2's, MX5's - anything! The steering is as vague as a moody 14 year-old and you feel so detatched from the whole driving experience, you might as well be a passsenger. Dangerously under-powered, handles like a drunken fat lass on rollerblades, build quality and material quality that makes a lada riva look well-spec'd. The only good thing I have found is that brakes. Seriously CACK car.

Corsa/Fiesta is small and has OK visability, parts are cheap and very easy to come by. Reliability isn't bad, rust is your enemy! Hell of a lot of ex fleet corsa's about so they've always been cheap, now they're almost at the stage where they'll be giving them away with the Mail On Sunday or Frosties.

For the love of god don't buy a punto unless you hate your GF, if you're not sure if she's a keeper or not then buy something else french and see what happens :)

Oh and sex in a car ... If it can be done in a normal smart car it can be done anywhere (I hasten to add this isn't from personal experience and the person who it came from was about 5ft 2).

i got stuck with a micra hire car for 1 day and i felt the same what a terrible car
