Btyahoo! Mail and the curse of vanishing emails.

Strange problem regarding btyahoo's email service

Why would btyahoo wipe all traces of my forum passwords from its freemail service?
I keep loosing records of forum activity and that goes for passwords that belong to ocuk's shop and other places like it.
 
Well if I forget my password for ocuk I would normally get it sent to my email account. Sometimes I will leave it in there if I need it, what im trying to explain here is all traces of forum passwords are being deleted from my email account and im not doing it.
 
Ive had a problem with btyahoo mail for quite a while now. Any important emails like reciepts for goods bought and passwords for logging into support forums are vanishing but all the junk rubbish is staying put. I can delete the junk but more comes in constantly. Whats bothering me is I can search right back to 2004 when I started using bt's webmail service and I can find lots of old stuff, even things from this forum. But anything to do with money or passwords keeps vanishing.

Im not deleting them, they are not being archived anywhere so what the hell is going on? its getting really annoying now.
 
If you go into the spam box and open the emails that you want to go to your inbox, there is an option to mark them as Not Spam, this will transfer them to the inbox and it should remember that next time.

BTYahoo used to put my OCUK emails in the spam box, once I marked them as not spam, they always come to my inbox now.
 
My spam folder is full of carp even after cleaning it out, ive searched in that folder and its very rare anything cosha goes in including forum replys from ocuk. Whats bugging me is the fact that important stuff is now going awol from my main inbox. I will order stuff from say ocuk or any other competitor and after a few days the proof emails will just vanish...? Im not using internet explorer but the btyahoo webmail setup.

Ive tried all sorts aswell, checking any settings in the account but nothing works. Im really hot on all this carp that comes in like fake bank emails and scammers so Ive not done anything stupid either.
 
Dont shout at me, but they are not on another page are they? you can set it so it shows 25, 50 and more emails on each page....

I have just had a look through my account settings and the only auto-delete is set on Spam folder.... :confused:
 
Ive just checked back as far as I can go and there is nothing.. nada.. diddly squit :( all traces of important things have gone but ive got random things that are useless lol.

I could well be on the limit of whats allowed due to all this bloomin spam rubbish but that goes direct into the spam folder, then I will go in and nuke things out of it. I never gets above 300 odd anyway.

Never lost anything on Y!mail, gmail or anything except hotmail and that only because I sometimes forget to use it for ages and it disables itself.
