How to get a new style Sim card to fit an old phone?

My car comes with an old carkit which takes the old style credit card sized sims from 10 years ago or more.
Is there a adapter which will enable me to put my new style (small sim) in, and slot upwards into the car phone?
If so where can I grab one from??

Plenty around.

You could even get a free o2 sim (you know, the free 300 texts a month jobbies), take out the sim from the large credit card sized surround, then tape your existing sim in place.

Et voila, free adapter.

You'll probably need a 2G SIM to be honest, 3G SIM cards aren't compatible with a lot of older GSM devices.

Are Virgin 3G? Not sure if they are.

In which case you could use one of their SIMs.
