The Best XBOX 360 Multiplayer Games

So was wondering what you all think the best games are for having a button bash when friends are round. (So not over live but split screen) looking for some decent ones after completing Army of Two which was ace and also already got Pro Evo 08 (will be getting 09 too) :)

I'll probably get ripped/slated whatever you want to call it for saying this but i think for good old button bashing with mates round and then arguing over the outcomes, the game of choice for me is:

FaceBreaker :D

Love it, and you get a kick out of beating your mates who have no experience of the game and well... breaking their face i suppose :p
 
I tried facebreaker and if they hadve made a decent control system to go with the fantastic look of the game it would have been a sure fire hit.

Instead they have made a game that you may as well play by making a fist and whacking all four buttons at once. Any enjoyment is rapidly lost with handache. I can't believe they got the look and feel so right and left all controls to last.

Theres a reason it's been scoring such very very low marks. :(

Local MP other than the ones mentioned in the OP, nothing beats Rockband.

In response to dannyjo22's comment, i do agree with you, the controls are garbage, but for some reason i still love it, maybe its the reason you stated, it looks so good maybe thats what keeps bringing me back? anyway thats off topic for the thread, sorry guys, i had another thought for a game: any WWE, now they are great fun with the mates
 
I love FPS on the PC back in the day

I find that the only type of games like these that "work" on the 360 are halo 3 (subpar) and GOW (Personally MP was a blast) though I haven't played CoD 4

Why is that?

I have 07 at the mo and playing it reguarly, always planned on getting 08 and 09 though.

One glitch with 07 is that there is a weird problem when a replay comes on and the screen goes black and you can only concede the hole. Infuriating!
They never fixed it neither. Damn you EA.
 
Bomberman Live! is the best multiplayer game I've played on the Xbox 360 over a few beers.

The XBLA version is infinitely customisable and the best version ever IMO. Well worth 800 points. :)

Flatout Ultimate Carnage (8 players, School Buses Only, Figure of Eight 2, half damage...CHAOS!)
