BFG GTX 280 Opinions

I've had issues with recent ATi cards - was running a single HD3870 and then CrossFire 3870s earlier in the year. Went back to Nvidia and no troubles :)

Just got mine today, no regrets here :)

Only niggle is the fanspeed currently appears to require a reboot to lower again after gaming...

Will it work okay with a Corsair HX620 PSU?

I have 4GB ram, 4 HDDs, 2 DVD drives and a Q6600 overclocked to 3.2Ghz.

Apologies to the OP for the slight hijack.

Had mine running at 700/1400/2300 since day one, that's by no means a massive overclock but it's solid as a rock and fast as hell even at stock speeds let alone overclocked.

I have a similar setup to you. I got my BFG gtx280 today and it simply wont work with my Epsilon 700W PSU. I get a longer post beep and the red light on the card comes on signifying too little power.
Ive ordered an Antec 1200W psu. I'll be really annoyed if its a duff card but I think it is the PSU. I did a calculation on one of those PSU sites and it showed I needed an 840W psu!

BFG have excellent customer support... go for it!

Second that! bought a bfg gtx260 a week after they came out. then after the price drop i was not exactly a happy bunny. missed the deadline for registering my card for the full 10yr warranty and the european rebate offer, but got two very nice emails saying they've accepted both applications!

BFG are fantastic, comes with a warranty that'll last way past 3 or 4 upgrades (10 years), and they'll replace the card really fast if need be.

Just RMA's my BFG motherboard - Contacted BFG on Thursday evening, Got an RMA number Friday morning (couldn't post friday or sat) so i posted on Monday, got a replacement in the post by Wednesday... Certainly can't complain at that!

I got this card, well the ocx version, when i got my new machine. Its been flawless so far and doesnt get loud during games either so im happy..

Shocked how the prices have gone up, i paid ~300 for the ocx version and its 352 now :o
