Well I posted a wile back about my new toy for the summer, see this thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17864230&highlight=jet+ski

Well I have just upgraded to this little beast for the winter :D

Its a seadoo XP Ltd and compared up to my last Yamaha its mental. I've been out wave jumping in it when the weathers been bad and have to say you get a real buzz ;) Anyone else got one and if so do you ride it in the winter when its cold, Raining and big waves and soooo much more fun;)

Dads got a Tigershark. Cannot remember the model. Does about 55mph and is an awesome amount of fun :D

My brother had a Seadoo Jetski new a couple of yeras ago, 215BHP and was amazingly mental!! I think that was an XP limited (had the GPS etc, although it seemed huge with space for 3 probably)

We used to go out in the Plymouth Sound on it, and we have a mate with a Seadoo jetboat, we had a great laugh when we took them both out, plenty of time to mess around on each.

The ski had immense power, and just reacts like an overpowered RWD! uber fun..

what engine / bhp is that ? always wanted a jetski and as I live down by isle of wight could go over there in summer on it... not sure if they reliable enough for open water though or have range ?

i guess if you travel in pairs it aint so bad...

There's no reason why you couldn't, they will run as long as you have fuel in them just like a bike or car.

It would definately be advisable to travel in pairs though, you don't want it conking out on you in front of a P&O ferry because they're not gonna see you!

Went out on my friends new Seadoo GTX supercharged last weekend at mudeford. Can't believe the acceleration of these things with both of us on it! Went up to 45mph then got a bit scared due to it being a bit choppy!
The most fun is following a speedboat and going across its wake see how high you can jump!

Hah that looks hilarious fun! I want one when I move to the coast, don't think I can get anything else on the driveway here though!
