Champions League fixtures - 16th & 17th

watching man utd game what is andy gray on ? he reckons that was a penalty it clearly wasn't

Good first-half from United.

Should have had a pen, but tbf only Ferdinand had a clear-cut chance.

He clearly got the ball first Park then ran in to his leg, nice to see man utd not getting every penalty decision for a change though.

Commentators are making out as if we're not playing well. Its the best half of football we've played this season as far as I'm concerned. Much more energy.

If he got the ball first, surely it should've been a corner? I was expecting that at first, anyway.

Don't trust me, I'm watching it on chinese TV, it's 3:30am and well past my bedtime :p

He got the ball first yes it should have been a corner the ref thought it came off park though thus the goal kick.

Arsenal trying to walk the ball into the net. Totally wasteful for 6 yards Cesc :/
Give over, they were hardly trying to walk the ball in when Cesc shot after two passes. It was a good move, just wasted.

RvP has looked a little frustrated with being out on the wing so far, and should have done better with his two decent chances.

What?

Are you serious?

He was no where near the ball, he took the player and not the ball.

And thats the second penalty decision tonight, and there was one at the weekend too.

I wasn't necessarily referring to that chance, I felt occasionally our play was a bit over complicated throughout that half. Nowhere nearly as bad as we can be but we have been wasteful.

I agree, he does look fustrated, and is very lucky not to pick up a booking. I don't think half time could have come quickly enough for him, he needs a drink and a calm down chat.

Handball in the first few minutes, not surprised it wasn't given, but he did have his arms up in the area.

Not a penalty in a million years. IINM it hit his right arm which was across his chest (not his left arm which was out to the side) and it was from 2 yards away.
