Life with PlayStation is now available for download by selecting the Folding@home icon under “Network” on the XMB.

Well I have now, it ok, nothing amazing, I think if it's going to become usefull they really need to offer more localised news instead of just sticking to the capitals and large cities, that way it would feel a bit more personalised, atm it makes more sence for me to load up the PS3 web browser as I have BBC News 24 as my home site and that is allot more informative.

I agree it needs to be more localised, but for national news its quite good. I like the interface seems pretty slick and at least we're curing cancer as we read the news looking at weather. I wonder if the actual clouds on the main earth pic are real time? Im guessing the night/day thing moves during the day so i wonder if the Earths image is a real time sat pic?

If I press the right analogue stick down it resets to 'Madrid', is that the same for you guys also ?

I believe it's real-time, just how accurate it is though I'm not sure.

There's a pic of hurricane Ike supposedly being displayed in LWP.

Yeah, same for me. The application doesn't look finished at all. I'm sure it will be updated over the coming months no doubt.

I thought you was going to be able to see the weather ahead. I can only see todays weather. And yes, it always resets to Madrid when I press the R analog stick.

I also cant select any music, its either reccomended or my own.

Having a play with Life now, seems a bit pointless for me at least but it's great that it runs FAH while you are using it, though it's bad that they have renamed the entire thing to Life. I think they also need to have some other way to download it other than running FAH though as I know lots of people who never touch it!

EDIT: The browser is crap, why can't it use the standard PS3 browser interface?!
