Trying to make a final decision on a monitor to order so it arrives Friday, I just can't decide what to go for - people say the W240D-PVA - but yet reviews state image quality is not that good despite it being great for gaming...what is it like out of the box via DVI.

Also how well with a plain ATI 4870 512mb run games at in 1920x1200?

I found the Hyundai panel to have a lot of ghosting, also the colours were a bit over-saturated, but the build quality was good i thought. Also no dead pixels.

You shouldn't have a problem - the 4870 is a great card at that resolution - you can even expect to slap on some AA etc without a huge drop in fps in most games
