Hi,

Is it possible to have two monitors with different res in clone mode or is it only possible in dual view?

Cheers

I have had it possible, but only by accident. It works with the smaller resolution monitor scrolling about the desktop depending on where the mouse pointer is.

On my ATI card where one is vga and the other is dvi. Something like i had two monitors in span mode, set the resoluitons, then after that deselect the 'extend windows onto this screen'. After that the screens clone. I dont see what the use it though?

2nd screen for vmc so I don't have to have the projector on for stuff like music, radio etc.

It works fine in dual view but it would be simpler for switching to movies if it were possible, which it seems it isn't.

clone view is where both screens show the same, so if you wanted different res you'd have to use dual view

Yes, I realise that but i was wondering if there was a way of having the windows desktop on both screens but at a different res. What about another graphics card?
