Anybody finding Warhammer laggy and choppy like me?

Means nothing really. Like yourself, I run WoW at 1680x1050 resolution and with maximum settings applied. I hardly ever drop below 60fps (except in Shattrath of course) and I'm running an old 512MB 7900GS!

Does this mean that my 7900GS is as good as your 9600GT?

9600 gt is miles better than a 8600gt its pretty close to a 8800 gt.

Thanks for clearing that one up, can not believe some peoples advice was "Your card is a 8600 GT it sux" Pretty bad that is. I have just been reading through a thread on gamespot and a lot of people are saying what i am saying so i am not alone here.

I would advice getting FRAPS and benchmarking to see how low or high you FPS is, you sure it just isn't laggy rather than low FPS?

Also which server are you on? You're not on Azgal or 8 Peaks are you? Have you tried a different server if you are?

Frames: 3724 - Time: 91405ms - Avg: 40.742 - Min: 3 - Max: 80

That is for high quality on 1280 x 1024. So it is not fps lag. Min 3 was in that cave at the greenskin start area, laggs at first in there.

That seems not too bad, 40 FPS is perfectly playable

Min of 3 is indeed quite surprising given your specs, my average is around 62, (min and max are 21 and 92). At least thats how it was for me on tuesday, havent tried since but I'm not expecting too much of a difference.

I think the game is fantastic, it's just it feels laggy lol, really annoying. When i say laggy i mean just not smooth.

Seems to be a fair few people saying that on various forums, its fine for me, but clearly there are issues. Having said that, today is technically launch day, so its a long road ahead and I would expect any performance issues to be ironed out in time. Given that many MMOs I have played on day 1 havent even been able to keep the servers up for day 1 , as long as the servers stay up this evening thats already one plus

I'm on that server and have noticed no lag or stuttering. Just last night I was in the dwarf t2 zone fighting another Wb of destruction trying to take a keep - so easily 50+ people on screen at once. With everything maxed, not even a hiccup.

Well anyway maybe i am just too use to WoWs smoothness, because wow certainly is a smoother game. I will keep playing and adapt to it
