How long will this PC last, and what will let it down?

Yea 2.4 is a bottleneck. It will not make games unplayable do not get me wrong, but it is a bottleneck.

Well it says "overclocked to a minimum of 3.00ghz", i wonder what the limit is on what i could overclock it to. Or would 3.00ghz be enough to get rid of the bottleneck?

excuse me for being a noob, but the 4870 X2 has 2gb of memory, surely that would last an incrediably long time. What graphics card should i choose then (if i also overclock my CPU)? Cause i want my computer to last ages without an upgrade

memory is the only bit on specs that i can understand and be able to tell whats good or not ^^

I missed the fact that they were overclocking it to atleast 3.

Your golden in that case

-edit- 3.6 is what the review sites overclock to, to get rid of the bottleneck completely but you will be fine at 3-3.2 range.
