citylink messup parcel question

hi all i was susposed to have a delivery today from citylink stuff bought from ocuk,however they have put my parcel on the wrong lorry last night so im told i i will get it tommorow.
My parcel tracking citylink status page however has the old info from last night and hasnt updated yet
My question is will my status update throughout the night with the admended info or stay the same and just be delivered with the last night info?
 
Sorry, your parcel has discovered the first signs of the imminent total destruction of the planet. Best keep well away from that black hole.


Status updates won't happen until the goods get back to the depot and are re-scanned. Should happen overnight, hopefully.
 
i dont understand why people post this, why not ring them and ****** ask ?

i have rang them do you think im thick? i just dont believe a word citylink say on the phone! and i wanted ppls past experiences with my problem is that such a bad thing to ask on here?
 
If you believe the average quotient of citylink rants on here, you'd think they're all thieving scum with a personal score to settle. I suspect that might just be a somewhat one-sided view, however. So yes, maybe it is such a bad thing.

But they are poor.
 
The worst thing about city link is their phone system. I cannot ring them from a mobile, and I cannot ring them from work as they have a phone system. It refuses to put me through to anyone and anything due to the fact that it (supposedly) automatically routes your call depending on the area code. So no point in phoning them at all since im at work during their office hours.
 
im praying that parcel arrives consignment details still havent been updated which is worrying me not holding my breath for parcel to arrive

saynoto0870 has some of the direct branch numbers, as well as head office. Some are old/dead now though. If all else fails I do have a working number for the Widnes depot, who should be able to give you the relevant phone number for your local depot direct.

If they get arsey for any reason just ask for Head Office's number because you want to make a complaint. Then just ask HO for the right number. Talk about jumping through hoops, but that's City Link for ya :rolleyes::D
 
At least they didn't deliver to the wrong address like they did with my order. The retard driver delivered it to number 52 instead of 25, complete idiot. Citylink could at least try to employ people who know how to read.
