Hello all, Im looking for a nice midi tower case. The antec 1200/900 doesnt look good to me, and although I realise if i want the best cooling I cant be fussy, I just cant stomach to look at it, so I ask..

Which of the two cases is the quietest and has best airflow?

I will have around 3xHDD's (raptor, 1tb)
HD4870X2
Any ideas?

if anyone can recommend me a better case, go for it :)
 
Akasa omega & bungee suspend your raptors would be a great setup
What is your budget ? anything but that ghastly overpriced armour i'd definitely get the cosmos over the armour any day.

Don't be fooled in to thinking loads of fans are needed when in reality 1x 120mm front and rear is sufficient if the case is big.
I bet if i stuck my rig from my eclipse with the same clocks in to an antec 1200 I'd hardly see any drops in temps.

If i had £150 ish to get a case these are the only ones that would be on my list

What I don't quite understand is how someone can find he antec 1200 ugly and the Thermaltake armour beautiful ?
For me the Thermaltake armour is one of the ugliest cases out there.

You say you want a midi tower, yet you mention the Tt Armor +. I have one, it's a huge, full tower case and I love it. Everyone else on these forums hates it though :D
 
the coolermaster looks 100% better than the thermaltake imo

i always find thermaltake to look very gimmicky
basically 'gamer case' means something that has the following spec.
  • side window with heavy branding
  • blue led fans
  • mean looking, plastic stealth bomber shell
  • cheap, sharp steel innards
  • poor build quality
  • bad layout and overall design
  • no room for modification

People are moving FROM the Cosmos to the HAF 932.
