Burnout Paradise Patch is up (Yes, the motorbike one !! brummm brummm)

My account is silver at the moment because I have no reason to pay for a gold account again just yet. When I checked a few hours ago the download option had a red circle on it and it told me I needed gold.

I assume it'll be another week for silver members, like it is with demos.

motorbikes are cool
but there is no boost button - which is a bit daft for burnout
and the crashes are lame - which is very daft for burnout

the whole point of burnout is crashing at the vital part of the race and getting royally annoyed at not being able to carry on instantly

as a side note - i was loving the timed road stats poping up whilst playing
ended up following lowrider007s times and trying to beat them! that was cool

just downloaded the patch , even though its only 2 bikes its like a complete addon which for free is great

shame burnout has no trophy support .

this game is very good ive not played it in ages , will soon start the bike license when i get some spare time

I like the way that this patch is free, reminds me of the old days on PC before pay-to-download DLC was invented!

I don't have the game myself, without naming places, what price should I be aiming to pick this game up for?

£15 is the best region to pay

new shouldnt be more than £20

Well as rjkoneill has already pointed out, Live downloads run immediately upon finishing the download therefore it isn't compressed, whereas PSN downloads have to be extracted/installed first.

Surprised people still play this game to be honest, the novelty wore off for me after about a week.

Yeah sorry, I sent out multiple invites to do the 2 player challenges. I closed the room once we had 2 players, but obviously pending invites could still get in.

Should be just in your junkyard when you install the patch. Mine were anyway.

There are two in the Yunkyard after installing the patch, you do not have to start all over, only if you want to get the trophies.

Two other bikes are unlockable, one at 50% completion and one at 100% completion of the bike part.
