Crysis Warhead - Gone Gold

i have just one question, have the kept the sandbox editor is this crysis? really hope they have.
my copy will hopefully be here tomorow, knew i should have gone to the shop for it.

Well so far its very similar to the start of crysis, loads of human enemies and a shed load of explosives. Good start if you ask me, lets just hope they don't pull the anti-mavity mentalness on us again.

people are looking too far into it yet again. Why don't you guys just enjoy a smoother gameplay experience that Warhead is now compared to Crysis on VHIGH even in dx9? Enthusiast runs better and looks better.
 
Does the game take AGES to install? Mine is.

btw I intend to play DX10, DX10 gave me playable FPS on max on Crysis so unless this is actually coded worse then I should be fine.

Does it though? The impression I am getting is that it doesn't run better, but rather that settings have been dropped to give the illusion of better performance.

The big problem with the first was that it was hard to enjoy because it didn't run smoothly and that performance was erratic - have it running nicely on one part, but a little further in having to change settings cause it's no longer running nicely.

Personally, I don't care if it's much faster - all I want is consistency. So if its running nicely at 30 fps min/average on one part, then that is what I can expect throughout the game. First one just isn't like that, but I do hope this one is.

Yeh you can play it like that, if your a boring sod.

Or you can play a game like it is meant to be played, you know, for fun.
Run around like a nutter throwing explosive barrels and shooting them in mid air. Grab Koreans and throw them through buildings. Cause as much destruction as you can. Crysis gameplay gives you so many options, it is great.

/waits for steam to finish downloading warhead.
